How I Maintain Clear Skin as an Adult with ZAPZYT + Daily Habits For Better Skin

For as long as I can remember I’ve dealt with some form of acne. It started when I was a teenager, and I still break out weekly to this day and I’m 24. Over the past couple of years I’ve found products and improved things in my daily routine that have really changed my skin for the better, and one of those things is adding ZAPZYT products that can be purchased at Walmart to my skincare routine!
Acne Wash Cleanser
The acne wash is a gentle cleanser for acne prone skin. It’s hypoallergenic, dye free, and fragrance free. It also soothes skin and reduces redness with chamomile and aloe. The 2% Salicylic Acid helps to unclog pores and reduce breakouts. It also works really well for acne on other areas of your body like on your chest and back!
Pore Clearing Scrub
This scrub has tiny natural microbeads made from wax to help clear pores of any dirt and oil. The tiny beads help scrub away dead skin cells and any build up on the skin. The scrub also has 2% Salicylic Acid to help treat acne. The scrub also has a mild cooling effect, which gives your skin a clean, refreshing feeling! I love it!
This is the superstar of the three products for me! I’ve used a ton of treatment gels in my life, but I can honestly say that for me this is the best one I’ve used yet! The treatment gel contains 10% benzoyl peroxide which is a maximum strength micronized non-irritating gel. It’s water based and contains no alcohol, which prevents your skin from over drying, and reduces the appearance of acne within hours. This treatment gel has improved my acne so much! I get a ton of hormonal breakouts and bumps around my forehead, and since I’ve started using this on a daily basis my skin is almost completely clear! I’ve never used a product that worked as fast as this one for stubborn breakouts.
Daily Habits for Better Skin:
- Drink more water! It helps clear and hydrate your skin. My skin looks and feels so much better since I’ve started drinking more water!
- Change the pillow cases and wash the sheets! I’ve gotten into the habit of changing our pillow cases every two days. That means we sleep on one side of the pillow, flip it for the next day, then change it the third day. This along with washing our sheets once a week has helped prevent new breakouts more than I thought it would. It’s definitely worth getting into the habit of doing!
- Exfoliate! This is key for me because I have textured skin. When I exfoliate on a daily basis my skin breaks out less.
- Don’t touch or pick at acne! This was a hard habit for me to break because I was constantly touching my face throughout the day. Once I stopped touching my face randomly and stopped picking at my bumps my skin cleared up a ton! This also helps prevent cluster acne, which is an area of more than one breakout due to transferring bacteria onto your skin from your fingers.
