Coffee & Chit Chat | Blogging, Whats Happening, and Whats Next?

Long time no see! I know, I know. I’ve been a bit MIA lately. That’s what we’re going to talk about today: the blog, whats been going on, and what you can expect next!

Everyone knows I’m pretty crappy when it comes to blogging, and I’ve been the same with YouTube lately. Over the past few months several things have happened and I’ve had a pretty hard time staying motivated through all of it. Thankfully I have great people in my life and a super supportive husband for when the times get tough. I’m blessed and grateful even through times like this!

Around 2 1/2 months ago I decided to take a little break from the social media world. I wasn’t inspired to blog or make videos or work on anything related to MHE, and I knew I needed to refresh myself and figure out what direction I wanted to go in.

During this time I ended up taking my love for weddings to the blogging world and created Honeysuckle Brides, a Kentucky based wedding blog. This was exactly what I needed. Almost immediately it rekindled my love for blogging and the online world. After a month on HB I decided I wanted to try running both Honeysuckle Brides and Miss Hope Elizabeth because I had some lifestyle posts I really wanted to share, but HB wasn’t the right place for that.

So here we are. Miss Hope Elizabeth is live once again as my personal blog on the side. Things on the blog are changing a bit though. Instead of just posting about beauty I’ll be posting about everything I love: seasonal living, fashion, Kentucky based things, chit chats, recipes, inspirational posts, and more. You’ll see much more of who I really am through this blog.

I plan on coming back to YouTube soon as well, but I want to tackle running two blogs at once first before I add that into the mix.

For those of you who stuck around on my social media while I disappeared for over two months, thank you, you’re the best humans ever! I have so many ideas for both of my blogs, and I can’t wait to see how each of them grow!
